Table for Two

As I mentioned in a previous post, I recently moved into a temporary sublet apartment.  I finally found a fabulous apartment and it is 4 times the size of my little West Village shoebox! Did I mention it has a fabulous bathtub, fireplace, walk-in closet, and the owner is leaving the baby grand piano for a few months until they can arrange to have it moved? Anyone want to teach me how to play?

There is no separate dining room , and not quite enough room for a full size dining table next to the baby grand piano, but there is room for a two person bistro table.

I have put together a tablescape for my apartment. The table and chairs work well with my current living room furniture, and the place mats and napkins make the space an entirely new scheme all together. I can mix up the color scheme within the dining area depending on my dinner guests, the seasons, and my mood in general.

I happen tho think this scheme is girly yet sophisticated and warm, and inviting.
